- Journaling Questions
- Commitment to Action
Dear Conveners,
Another amazing session yesterday! Thanks to Claudia and Steven as Graduate Mentors during the session.
We look forward to our final session together (and are sad that the series is ending).
1. Transitions [3 min ea.] Yi, Erin
2. Case Studies [10 min ea.] Julie, Debra, Yi
*PRESENTERS:
- come to your session 10 minutes early to test your computers/audio/screen share
- remember to practice your timing: 7 minutes each which includes giving background and following the Wheel
- any questions? please contact Craig at [email protected]
Remember, preparation is the key to giving an effective presentation. Good preparation and the realization that you are the creator of your Case Study will boost your self-confidence.
- Read your presentation out loud to yourself or a colleague.
- Time each segment. It is important that you keep to your time limit.
3. Journaling Questions to speak to during the session
• What is calling you, in your expression as a Convener?
• What is a learning or gift from your experience of the AoC Core Training?
• What are you now committed to as a Convener?
4. Commitment to Action
An individual/collective agreement to be responsible & accountable for the way forward
Challenge: Absence of Alignment
Principle:
Shared actions and behaviors create movement toward a common future of consequence and accountability.
Essential Questions:
What is needed to allow for the highest level of commitment, responsibility, and accountability?
What is already occurring or has been put into action?
What actions will I take that will make it more likely that people will act?
Thank you for your commitment to growing your convening skills!
Craig & Patricia
